ΟF PANHELLENIC FEDERATION OF CHOIR AND
CHORAL CONDUCTORS

It was created on the initiative of Choral Conductors and Boards of Choral Associations by the name of "PANHELLENIC FEDERATION OF CHOIRS AND CHORAL CONDUCTORS", called for brevity in the following articles PFCCD, with headquarters in Karditsa and branches in Athens and in Thessaloniki.
During her life, she pioneered important educational and cultural choral events in Greece and abroad.
He implemented important Festivals, meetings, seminars, European programs always with the aim of developing Choral Art and Music.
The purpose of the Panhellenic Federation of Choir and Choral Conductors is:
a) Safeguarding the professional and artistic interests of the members.
b) The promotion of the Choral Idea and choral practice in Public and Private Education, but also in wider social strata and the qualitative rise of the level of Greek Choir Directors, Choirs and Greek Choirs.
c) The cooperation and solidarity between Choirs and Choristers for the elevation of choral art in our country.
d) The expression of opinion on matters of general musical interest, as well as its participation in joint efforts to deal with them.
e) The appreciation of choral art and the social recognition of its workers.
F) The cooperation with the state, the Organizations and businesses of the Self-Government and all other competent ones in Greece and abroad, such as the EU, international organizations, cultural bodies and mass media, for the elevation of choral art.
g) The promotion of musicological research and the coordination of initiatives at national and international level in the field of musical activities and
h) The renewal of the repertoire of the choirs
Instruments for the pursuit of the purposes of the Federation are:
i) The meetings of Choral Conductors, Choirs and School Choirs, Children's, Mixed, Men's and Women's Choirs by exchanges 
g) The organization of International Choral Music Weeks and sessions.
The organization of  PFCCD, which will refer to a different town every year, if the possibilities are there.
k) The organization of concerts in schools and in the countryside 
l) the support of initiatives of PFCCD members for the exaltation of the Choral Art.
m) Choral camps (Greek and international).
n) The organization of educational, informational trips for Choral Conductors and Choristers. 
o) The creation of school Choirs at the level of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary education.
p) The production, exchange and publishing of repertoires, publishing of discs, cassettes , but also of any other audio-visual media according to the terms of the current Laws. 
q) The organization of seminars for choral conductors, composers and Choristers. 
r) Its contribution to the translation, adaptation and expression of choral material .
s) The creation of Choirs throughout all the country.
t) The publishing of a specialized choral magazine.
u) The cooperation on a Balkan, Mediterranean, European and also Global level with the respective organizations.
v) The participation and cooperation of PFCCD , in all International and Greek forums, which include important decisions for Choral Art. 
w) The cooperation with the Ministries of Education, Culture and their competent committees, whether through representation or not, for the in-depth development of the Choral idea and practice .
x) The Creation of a Choir Development Directorate at the Ministry of  Culture.
The Panhellenic Federation of Choirs and Choral Conductors has recently placed great emphasis on the creation of an Inclusive Choir in Greece with people with and without visual impairments.
